CER is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Bootle. This role offers the chance to be an integral part of a dedicated team, providing support across Key Stage 1 classrooms.

Position: Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (General Support)

Location: Bootle

Salary: £83.33 – £96.72 per day

About the Role:

As a General Teaching Assistant, you will support a Key Stage 1 class, providing personalised assistance and ensuring they thrive both academically and socially. This is a highly rewarding role where you will play a crucial part in helping the children in class reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons to ensure all students can reach their full potential.

Provide support to individual students and small groups, helping with both academic and personal development.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment by encouraging students and supporting their needs.

Help with classroom management, including maintaining a safe and productive learning space.

Contribute to planning and preparing classroom activities, and support with administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

Experience in a school setting or similar educational environment (desirable but not essential).

A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting students’ learning and development.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting diverse student needs.
