Head of Design Technology

CER is working in partnership with a school based in Leeds to recruit for a permanent Head of Design Technology. The role is to start in September 2024 on a permanent contract.

We are looking for a highly motivated and hard-working individual who can:

• Successfully lead in DT across the academy
• Encourage and enthuse students to achieve their full potential and are passionate about the development of the whole child
• A team player who can develop positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Inspire colleagues and students to share best practice

You will be:

• A proven good/outstanding teacher with the ability to successfully teach all aspects of KS3 and KS4 Design Technology

Requirements for the role:

• Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS)
• A valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain.
• Two suitable references covering the last two years
