CER is looking for a talented Geography Teacher to join a promising secondary school in Brigg working exlusively with a Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Geography lessons that are in line with the national curriculum and cater to the needs of all students.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to facilitate active learning and promote student engagement, such as practical demonstrations and workshops.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Geography curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, parents’ evenings, and extracurricular activities as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification/experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education.
  • Previous experience teaching music at the secondary level is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
