• Wrap-Around Care: The school offer wrap-around care for children from 7:30 am to 5:45 pm.

Job Description: EYFS/Y1 Teacher As an EYFS/Y1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners. Here are the key responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Planning and Delivery:

   • Teach all areas of the Foundation Stage curriculum.
   • Ensure effective planning, preparation, and evaluation of all aspects of EYFS provision.
   • Create a secure and stimulating learning environment for children.

2. Teaching and Learning:

   • Independently plan and deliver high-quality lessons.
   • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, providing clear direction and monitoring their work with pupils.
   • Set targets for pupil attainment levels based on data analysis.
   • Stay updated on child development and the EYFS Framework.

3. Assessment and Reporting:

   • Provide timely and relevant feedback to pupils.
   • Set learning and achievement targets, monitoring progress.
   • Assess the impact of your teaching on pupils’ learning.
   • Complete reports for pupils as part of the school reporting cycle.

4. Pastoral Care and Support:

   • Foster a secure and nurturing environment for children.
   • Understand the importance of both indoor and outdoor learning spaces in the EYFS.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the EYFS Framework.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for supporting children’s holistic development.
