Salary: £140 – £170 per day (with flex)

Start Date: September 2024 (or earlier if available)

Role Overview:

As an ECT working on supply, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to our client schools students. You will have the opportunity to develop your teaching practice in a supportive and dynamic environment, working alongside experienced colleagues and engaging with professional development opportunities.

CER also regularly host seminars/webinars on various topics such as behaviour management, skills for supply etc to further enhance your approach to teaching and learning.

We can facilitate full-time and long-term placements for September 2024 onwards, but you can also work part-time and on day-to-day supply if this is better for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing targeted support where necessary.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities when necessary, fostering a well-rounded educational experience for students.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to support student learning and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) obtained or anticipated by the start date.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
  • A proactive approach to professional development and collaboration.
