CER Education is looking for a dynamic and creative Dance Teacher to join a secondary school in Wakefield, teaching Dance up to GCSE level. In this exciting role, you will engage students with a range of dance styles and techniques, helping them develop their skills, confidence, and love for the subject while preparing them for their GCSE exams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging Dance lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level

* Teach a variety of dance styles, techniques, and choreography

* Prepare students for practical and written elements of their GCSE Dance exams

* Encourage creativity and self-expression while maintaining high standards of discipline and focus

* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development

* Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, such as dance clubs or performances

Requirements:

* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification, with experience teaching Dance at GCSE level

* Strong subject knowledge and passion for Dance, with the ability to inspire students

* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
