Position Details:

• Role: Sports Coach/Cover Supervisor
• Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
• Start Date: Immediate (ASAP)
• Contract Duration: Until the end of the academic year
• Working Days: Flexible (part-time or full-time options available)

Responsibilities:

As a Sports Coach/Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Assist in Sports Sessions: Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging sports sessions that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline.
• Support Classroom Learning: Deliver pre-planned lessons of any subject to full class sizes in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring their academic progress.
• Promote a Positive Environment: Encourage students to participate in sports activities during breaks, fostering a healthy and active lifestyle.
• Adaptability: Be open to flexible working days based on school needs.

Requirements:

• Passion for Sports and Education: Previous experience in coaching sports or working with children in an educational setting.
• Positive Attitude: Enthusiastic, patient, and supportive demeanour.
• DBS Check: A valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (or willingness to obtain one).
