1:1 Teaching Assistant – Prescot

Do you have experience working with children as a 1:1?

CER Education Liverpool are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work full time supporting a child in Year 4 on a 1:1 basis with a school in the Knowsley area. The role is to work 1:1 with a child with behavioural needs. You will be working as part of an experienced KS2 team and will be supported by the class teacher.

The role is to start ASAP until the end of the Academic Year.

Job Responsibilities;

• Supporting the needs of the child.
• KS2 curriculum knowledge.
• Setting up and running interventions.
• Classroom resource and preparation.

Preferred Skills;

• Qualification within education.
• Previous experience in teaching assistant roles.
• Resilience and great work ethic.
• Experience working with small groups and 1:1.
• Assist students during lessons and ensure they are on task.
