SEMH Teaching Assistant | PRIMARY | HUDDERSFILED.

Are you an enthusiastic person, ready for the challenge of supporting pupils in an educational setting?

CER are looking for talented, enthusiastic, and inspiring teaching assistant experienced in supporting children with SEMH needs. We are looking for a teaching assistant who has also experience in supporting children who have Education Health Care Plan’s.

This role is to start with immediate effect, for the right candidate they would be open to offering a temp to perm contract.

As a teaching assistant, and working in education, you’ll want to be a part of a caring, encouraging and nurturing environment that helps every child succeed and be the best they can be.

We understand the challenges that come with being a teaching assistant, and that’s why you’ll have a dedicated consultant 24/7 to support you throughout your career with CER as well as continuous CPD such as safeguarding amongst others. Working in education means there are constant changes and lots of developments, and whilst the industry is developing, we’ll help you develop too!

The Role:

  • £27 – £30 Per Hour
  • Immediate start
  • Part Time 3 hours a day
  • KS2

Requirements

  • Experience when working with children, with SEND or mainstream.
  • A valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain this.
  • An understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and the barriers to learning.
  • Additional CPD qualifications, such as: Team-Teach and Moving & Handling would be highly beneficial but not essential as CPD is offered.
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
