We are currently recruiting for dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teachers, for a Secondary School in Luton. As part of a Trust that is committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for students, they uphold the highest standards of education and care, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.

The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to supporting students with diverse needs and the ability to maintain a structured and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Authoritative presence with excellent classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
