We are currently recruiting for dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teachers, for a Secondary School in Luton. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to supporting students with diverse needs and the ability to maintain a structured and positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Authoritative presence with excellent classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
