CER is looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join a promising Secondary schools in Hull, Linconlshire and the surrounding areas.

About our client school: An exciting new opportunity has opened in an inclusive SEN school located in the Hull Region working exclusively with a Trust. Our client school are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher.

Position Overview: As a SEN Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach concepts and skills in alignment with the curriculum. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons with a focus on promoting enthusiasm for the subject and promoting good attitudes to learning. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEN Teacher to contribute to our supportive and inclusive school community and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Our client school are also keen to hear from SEN Teachers who are seeking to forge their career within SEN Education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that are in line with the national curriculum and cater to the needs of all students.
  • Able to make reasonable adjustments for the students individual needs.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to facilitate active learning and promote student engagement.
  • Assess student progress and provide support with the students individual and group learning.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, parent teacher evenings, and extracurricular activities as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification/experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Team Team desirable but not essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
  • Previous experience teaching at the early years level is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
