About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of the classroom, working alongside the class teacher to provide essential support to students. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the delivery of lessons, providing one-to-one or small group interventions where required.
  • Assisting students with a range of learning needs, including those with additional learning or behavioural needs.
  • Helping students to develop confidence and independence in their learning.
  • Supporting the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive, inclusive environment.
  • Assisting with planning and preparation of learning materials, as well as maintaining records of student progress.
  • Helping students with personal care or general classroom tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or Level 3, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a school setting, particularly supporting students with special educational needs, is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both students and staff.
  • A proactive, patient, and compassionate approach to supporting students.
  • A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential.
  • A team player who is adaptable and willing to support wherever needed.
