CER Education are working in partnership with an Alternative Provision across Sheffield to find a Behaviour Support Worker who has a background in sport/physical education – school focuses a lot of their curriculum around physical activities.

You will also be required to help support in the classroom too as a Teaching Assistant or a Behaviour Support Worker.

The role is due to start as soon as possible subject to interview and clearance checks.

The role will involve you working across multiple key stages from KS1 to KS4. A successful candidate will be tasked with supporting the pupils in the classroom but also with extra-curricular activities including PE and the Duke of Edinburgh award.

As a teaching assistant you would be working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30 – 3:45.

  • You have experience teaching or supporting learning in a school setting
  • You are university graduate with a sporting BA Hons looking to transition into education
  • You hold a sports coaching qualification or equivalent
  • You are passionate, personable and able to enthuse young learners
