The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and highly motivated Year 2 teacher to join our team from January 2025 full time. As a Year 2 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the National Curriculum to a lively and engaged class of students, helping them to reach their full potential in both academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure consistency in teaching and learning across the school.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities, trips, and school events.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1), preferably in Year 2.
  • Demonstrate a passion for teaching and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children.
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and build strong relationships with students and parents.
  • Show a positive, proactive attitude towards professional development.
