At CER, we are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join the supportive schools we work with in Doncaster.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored support to meet the individual learning needs of students.
• Help create and maintain an inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
• Support students with their social, emotional, and academic development.
• Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and other support strategies.
• Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children with special educational needs, ideally in a primary school setting.
• Possess a calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students with a range of needs.
• Be proactive, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Hold a relevant qualification in SEN or education (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent) – desirable.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be committed to supporting the welfare and development of children.
