Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Wrap Around Care Assistant to join our team. This Part-Time role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to our students outside of regular school hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children during our before and after school programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children during after school care sessions from 15:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.
• Plan and implement a variety of activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical activity.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
• Assist with homework and provide support for children’s individual needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a similar setting is highly desirable.
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are preferred.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
