In this key role, you will ensure the continuity of learning by stepping in to teach classes during teacher absences, providing crucial support to students as they continue their educational journey. The schools we work with in Leeds are focused on helping every student achieve their full potential, fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere where each child is valued. We are looking for a variety of teaching roles within Leeds secondary schools, whether it be long term full time roles teaching your specialist subject, or ad hoc day to day cover roles.

Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of regular teachers
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and keep students focused
* Provide support and guidance to facilitate student learning
* Maintain a positive and productive learning atmosphere
* Monitor student behaviour and enforce school policies
* Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage and motivate children
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
