The Role:

The school is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Year 3/4 teacher to join its team and work with a class of students. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing challenging behaviours and creating a positive learning environment. This role is crucial in helping students develop both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing effective behavioural management strategies to support student engagement and learning.
  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of Year 3/4 students.
  • Providing additional support to pupil premium children and EAL students to ensure their academic progress.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in behavioural management within a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by pupil premium children and EAL students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to start immediately and commit to the role until the end of the academic year.
