SEN Teaching Assistant needed for Primary School in Chesterfield!

Teaching Assistant needed for a lovely primary school within the Chesterfield area. Experience working with children with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning disabilities would be advantageous. This is for a long term role up until the summer with the potential of extending to a permanent role. You will be responsible for providing one-to-one support, assisting them both in and out of the class.

The ideal Learning Support Assistant and Teaching Assistants will be responsible for providing one-to-one support, assisting them both in and out of the classroom. You may also be expected to lead small groups of children who require additional support.

In order to be successful for this position you must:

• Have excellent classroom management skills
• Good subject and curriculum knowledge
• Recent experience supporting children, which can be referenced
