SEMH Teaching Assistant – Crosby, Sefton

CER Education are recruiting for experienced Learning Support Assistants who have a passion to support the next generation.

The school, based in Crosby provides support to pupils aged 5-16 with SEMH needs (Social Emotional and Mental Health). It is essential that you have had previous experience supporting in a similar environment and that you are familiar with following EHCP’s (Education, Health and Care Plans).

This role is to start in April 2025 and the contract will initially be offered on a Temporary basis but does have a view to become permenant for the right applicant.

The hours of work will be full time – Monday to Friday 8:30am until 3:30pm.

Applicants will be considered for a job share basis if available part time.

To become part of the CER Education team ideally you will have:

• Previous experience with pupils with additional needs such as SEMH
• Be comfortable working 1-on-1 with students.
• Work well under considerable pressure.
• Be both adaptable and flexible.
• Have excellent punctuality and organisation.
• Be positive and friendly.
• Possibly extra qualifications (e.g. Team Teach, PRICE etc.)
