Teaching Assistant (Agency Bank Staff)

• Location: Barnsley Secondary Schools
• Contract: Part-time and full-time available
• Salary: £85.00 – £100.00 per day DOE

Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education? We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our bank staff team, providing supply cover at a thriving secondary school in Barnsley. Multiple positions are available.

About the Role:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
• Work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
• Provide additional help to students with special educational needs (SEN) where required
• Adapt to different subjects and year groups as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with young people is desirable
• A positive and flexible approach to working in a school environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
