CER Education Supply is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in the Doncaster area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual who wants to make a difference in the classroom and support students in reaching their full potential.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with additional learning needs.
  • Assisting with classroom activities, ensuring all students are engaged and supported.
  • Supporting the teacher with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.
  • Assisting with behaviour management and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supporting the assessment of students’ progress and providing feedback where necessary.
  • Helping to implement strategies for student development, under the direction of the class teacher.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or Level 3, or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a classroom setting, ideally with children with additional needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their educational and emotional development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use initiative when required.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and professional attitude.
