Teaching Assistant

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) – Crosby

Location: Crosby, Sefton

Salary: £85 £100 per day

CER Education has an exciting opportunity for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with Autism at a school in Crosby. The ideal candidate will have experience working with non-verbal pupils and those requiring specialized support plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering 1:1 support to a child with Autism throughout the school day
• Working closely with SENCO and parents to develop individualized learning plans
• Using visual and sensory learning techniques to enhance the child’s learning experience
• Helping with behaviour management and promoting inclusion within the classroom

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEND, especially Autism
• A patient, calm, and empathetic demeanour
• A relevant qualification (Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent)
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting students’ learning and development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting diverse student needs.
