Position: Student Support Specialist
Location: Rotherham
Start Date: After February Half Term
Duration: Until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate

About the Role: We are seeking a committed and compassionate individual to join our team at CER for one of our partnership schools in Rotherham. You will be working closely with students who exhibit very challenging behaviour, helping them to achieve their full potential in a supportive and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to students with challenging behaviour
• Develop and implement individualised behaviour management plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a positive learning environment
• Monitor and report on student progress
• Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students

Skills and Experience Needed:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and patient in stressful situations
• Knowledge of behaviour management techniques
• A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
• Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
