Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting students and making a difference in the classroom? CER Education is looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team for exciting opportunities across Wakefield and surrounding areas.

We are currently recruiting for full-time and part-time roles in a variety of school settings, including primary, secondary, and special educational needs (SEN) schools.

Your Role Will Include:

•      Supporting pupils with their learning in class or in small groups
•      Assisting students with special educational needs, including EHCPs
•      Working alongside class teachers and SENCOs to deliver inclusive learning
•      Supporting with classroom management and behaviour
•      Providing one-to-one support where required

What We’re Looking For:

•      Experience working with children or young people in any setting – schools, sports coaching, childcare, youth work or similar
•      A patient, positive, and adaptable approach
•      A strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
•      Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply through CER)
•      Relevant qualifications are a bonus but not essential
