SEN Teaching Assistant

CER are currently hiring enthusiastic and committed Special Needs Teaching Assistants in Castleford, to support the educational development of students. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in school, assisting teachers in the classroom, providing additional support to pupils whom may need 1:1 support and ensure that you are supporting an encouraging learning environment at all times. Ideally, you will have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and be confident in supporting pupils who need additional support.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in similar role is essential
• Passionate about working with children and supporting their learning journey.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• DBS Certification (or be willing to obtain certification).
