Job Title: SEN Support Assistant

Location: Prescot

Salary: £88 – £105 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term

Start Date: 03/11/2025

CER Education are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN support Assistant to work with pupils who have had additional learning needs in a primary school in Sefton. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs
• Implement individual education plans (IEPs) under teacher direction
• Promote independence and positive engagement in the classroom
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure the best outcomes

Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting children with additional needs
• A positive, nurturing and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant SEN or Teaching Assistant qualifications (desirable)
