Safeguarding Officer
CER is working in partnership with a college in Leeds to recruit for a Safeguarding Officer.
To be considered for this role, you must have experience working in a college or HE environment as part of a large safeguarding team (part time applicants will be considered). The role is with an immediate start on an ongoing basis until July 2025.
You will be able to demonstrate how your qualities and skills show your commitment to make a difference to the lives of our students.
The safeguarding team is highly experienced, friendly and has a wealth of professional knowledge.
We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who will play a key role in the ongoing health and welfare of students and staff.
You will have experience of working with children and/or families within a safeguarding and child protection environment.
A committed team worker, you will carry a caseload and work on your own initiative. Time management skills are essential given the variety of this challenging yet rewarding role.
