Job Title: PE Teacher

Location: Durham

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (June 2025 – Easter 2026)

CER is working in partnership with an academy in Durham seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join their team. You will deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3, KS4, and BTEC, helping students achieve their best both inside and outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach PE across KS3, KS4, and BTEC levels
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons
• Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
• Contribute to the development of PE within the school
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK-recognised teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4
• Strong knowledge of planning and assessment procedures
• Ability to provide teaching references from recent school roles
