Online Exam Invigilator – Mid Day Cover

Remote Lead Exam Invigilator – Mid-day Support | September 2024 Start

CER are working in partnership with a College who are looking to add to their team to support their Online Lead Invigilators or ‘Circuit Leaders’ during the mid-day break. This position is ideal for those that only have availability in the middle of the day and are looking for a bit of extra work. The work will take place on the first week of each month, starting in September 2024

These are professional practical exams which will now be held remotely. This means that all Circuit Leaders, Exam-Takers, Examiners and Invigilators will be working virtually with their own PC/Laptop in their own home. Training and induction will be provided but fluency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, etc. along with confidence using video conference calls and new software are absolutely essential

The hours each day are roughly 11am to 3pm

To apply, you should have:

• The ability to work under pressure with Microsoft Teams and Excel and ability and confidence to use new software (essential)
• Experience with Exam Invigilation (not essential)
• Up to date hardware/ software – A laptop or PC, an updated Operating System, stable internet connection and competency to support video calls with no interruption (essential)
• On-going availability for the first week in each month (desired)
