About the Role:

As a Nursery Nurse, you will work closely with children in their early years, providing care and education to ensure they develop in a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development.
  • Providing a safe, caring, and supportive environment for all children.
  • Observing and recording children’s progress, helping to create individual development plans.
  • Assisting with personal care routines, including toileting, feeding, and naptime.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and supporting children in developing social and emotional skills.
  • Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues about children’s progress and well-being.
  • Helping maintain a clean and organised learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified Nursery Nurse (Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare/Early Years Education).
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude towards working with young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
