Higher Level Teaching Assistant

HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT NEEDED IN BARNSLEY!!

CER Education are the UK market leaders in Education Recruitment and we are looking to find an enthusiastic and engaging Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.

We are working closely with a primary school based in Barnsley that are needing a long term HLTA from September. This will be 5 days per week covering PPA and potentially 1:1 support.

The ideal HLTA will be responsible for providing classroom support, assisting both in and out of the classroom. You will also be expected to lead groups of children who require additional support. This will be for a mixture of age groups, with potential of covering Teacher sickness and PPA.

Requirements:

• Excellent classroom management skills and knowledge of the curriculum
• Recent experience working with children (Which can be referenced)
• Minimum of two suitable references covering the last two years
• A valid DBS (or be willing to obtain one)
