FOOD TECHNOLOGY TEACHER

Food Technology Teacher

CER is working in partnership with a maintained secondary school in Leeds to recruit for a full time teacher of Food Technology. This position is a temporary contact for one year starting in September 2024.

To be the successful candidate you will:

• Demonstrate a passion about the learning and achievement of all students
• An understanding of the Design Technology curriculum at KS3 & KS4
• Have excellent, well-developed interpersonal skills
• Have a strong commitment to inclusion, diversity and flexible working practices

Essential Criteria:

• Good honours graduate in Design & Technology or a related subject
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Strong evidence of continued professional development
• Successful teaching experience of Design & Technology across a range of specialisms) at KS3 and (in own specialism) at KS4
• A confident teacher who has a strong rapport with students of all abilities
