Role and Responsibilities:

As an EYFS Teacher, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning through play and exploration.
  • Assessing and monitoring children’s progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their developmental milestones.
  • Working closely with parents and carers to build strong home-school partnerships.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS) with a specialisation in Early Years Education.
  • Proven experience working within the EYFS framework.
  • A thorough understanding of child development and early years pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
