Are you an experienced Year 2 teacher with a passion for nurturing young minds and preparing them for their SATs? One of our partnership schools in Rotherham, S60 is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive community on a maternity cover basis.

The Role

As an Experienced Year 2 teacher, you will:

• Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils, ensuring they make excellent progress in all areas of the curriculum.
• Prepare for SATs: Use your experience with Year 2 and SATs to effectively prepare pupils for their assessments, providing targeted support and intervention where needed.
• Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Create a classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
• Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other staff members to share best practices, plan collaboratively, and contribute to the overall success of the school.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience teaching Year 2 and preparing pupils for Year 2 SATs.
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
• Passion for Education: A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
