Early Years Teacher – Full and Part Time Roles (Durham)

Salary: Paid to Teacher Pay Scale (MPS/UPS)

About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools and nurseries in the Durham area. These opportunities are offered through our agency and include both full-time and part-time roles, ideal for teachers seeking flexibility while continuing to make a real difference in early education.

You will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, supporting the development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and delivering engaging lessons that promote curiosity, confidence, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Support the social, emotional, and educational development of young learners.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and parents to ensure each child’s progress.
  • Maintain effective behaviour management and safeguarding practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching within Early Years.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to work across different school settings in Durham.
