CER Education are supporting one of our Skelmersdale based secondary schools who are looking to appoint a Computer Science and Business Studies teacher from January 2024 and continue until Easter in the first instance but it will likely continue for the full academic year.
There is also the opportunity that this role could become permanent for the right fit.
This position will expect you to teach across KS3 and KS4. This is a full time role and will require you to have experience teaching Computer Science as a minimum expectation. Experience teaching Business Studies would be beneficial. There will be no part time option with this position.
As this role is on a longer term basis with planning and assessment responsibilities, you will be paid to scale on the Main Teaching Pay Scale. You can expect rates of pay between £140 and £211 per day.
As a school they have an outstanding senior leadership team with an experienced and stable ICT and Business Studies department who will be there to provide you with continued support and guidance. They are a school at the heart of the local community with superb provision academically and socially for their students. We have always received excellent feedback from a variety of teaching staff who have taught at this school on a longer term basis with many becoming permanent members of staff.
You will ideally have QTS, QTLS or a relevant teaching qualification that allows you to teach mainstream secondary school students.
