We are working with an SEND School in the Bootle area who are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible on a temp to perm basis. The school provides to support to pupils aged 8 to 16 with Social, Emotial and Mental Heath (SEMH) and Autism. You will be required to work with pupils across the whole school and be expected to support during lessons, lunch time and with outdoor and off site activities. It is essential that you have a good understanding of supporting children with SEMH and Asc and are familiar with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs). The role is to start as soon as possible and will be offered on a full time basis with a view to becomming permanent for the right candidate.

• Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
• Have previous experience working with pupils with SEMH, ASC and challenging behaviour
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
• Have at least 6 months school based experience of working in a UK SEND school setting.
• Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
