SEN Teaching Assistant – Leeds

CER Education are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant on behalf of a specialist provision school based in Leeds. The school is looking for an SEN support specialist to support in their primary school setting.

If successful, you will be supporting a primary cohort of between 8-10 pupils. Your main focus will be to meet the needs of their Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) and help them progress in and out of the classroom.

The role is to start on the ASAP and has the potential to become permanent, subject to interview and completed clearance checks.

You will receive a daily rate of £85.00 – £90.00 P/D depending on experience.

To become part of the CER Education team ideally you will have:

• Previous experience within a special needs environment.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS that is registered on the update service, or be willing to obtain one.
• Be comfortable 1-on-1 with pupils
• Be both adaptable and flexible, going over and above at all times
• Have excellent punctuality and organisation
