CER are seeking to appoint an engaging Primary School Teacher to join a fantastic school in the south-east side of Sheffield until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of retaining a position at the school.

Pay rates: £140.00-£210.00 per day

About our client school: A proud and promising school located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire with a strong commitment to providing high-quality education. Our client school are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Classroom Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year, with the potential to stay on beyond this date.

Position Overview: As a Primary School Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in various subjects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 1 and 2, with a focus on fostering a love of learning. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our supportive and inclusive school community and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Our client school are also keen to hear from Early Career Teachers who are seeking to forge their career within Primary Education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that are in line with the national curriculum and cater to the needs of all students.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to facilitate active learning and promote student engagement.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the KS1&2 curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, parents’ evenings, and extracurricular activities as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for primary education.
  • Previous experience teaching at primary level is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
