Music Teacher | KS3 and KS4 | GCSE

CER is in working partnership with a Secondary academy based in Halifax who are looking to find an enthusiastic and engaging Music Teacher to cover a long term absence starting on Monday, 5th September 2022 until at least Ocotber 2022 with the possibility of extending to Christmas.

The successful teacher will have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum up to and including KS4. You will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of the children with a variety of abilities. You will be driven, passionate about your subject and have high expectations to ensure all pupils make good progress. The school has a real community atmosphere, where all staff focus on high quality teaching and all staff work together to ensure the achievements are maintained and excelled.

This role would suit either a newly qualified teacher who is an excellent practitioner, or an experienced practitioner looking for a new challenge.

The School is located in the North of Huddersfield and is rated GOOD by OfSTED. The school has parking and is easily accessible by public transport from Bradford, Leeds and Halifax.

Requirements

  • Hold or working towards a UK recognised teaching qualification (essential!)
  • A valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain.
  • Two suitable references covering the last two years.
