Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join our team of supply teachers to work on a full time and long term contract at our client school in Rotherham until the summer in the first instance. As a vital member of school faculty, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of students, imparting essential design principles and technological skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, catering to students of varying abilities.
• Inspire creativity and foster a passion for design and technology among students.
• Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment conducive to exploration and experimentation.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Specialisation in Design and Technology or related field.
• Proven experience in teaching design and technology at the secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of relevant software and tools used in design and technology education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for education and a commitment to the holistic development of students.
