Teaching Assistant

£85 – £95 per day depending on experience

Full time Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm

Start date: As soon as possible.

Must have previous experience in a similar role or hold a relevant Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification.

Long term role until July 2024

CER is working in partnership with a number of primary schools based in Wakefield to recruit for full time Teaching Assistants to work in their school. The role is with an immediate start until July 2023 in the first instance.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role in either a mainstream or specialist setting. Candidates who have work experience with children in a non school environment will be considered also.

We are looking for someone who is driven, passionate and committed to supporting young learners with various special educational needs and have high expectations to ensure all pupils make good progress.

Requirements of the role

A valid DBS registered on the update service or be willing to obtain.

Previous experience working with young children either in a school environment or other capacity

Two suitable references covering the last two years.
